Alarm Sensor Tamper or Tamper Fault

This usually refers to the connection inside the alarm sensors. As there are two separate circuits inside every alarm sensor, the potential for a short circuit is quite high. As alarm sensors are quite small, there is not a lot of room to do two separate alarm connections.

If the sensor alarm cable has any contact with the tamper circuit then the alarm system will activate. This can happen at any time and the alarm system does not have to be set for this to happen.

The reason the alarm system has a tamper is to protect the alarm system when it IS not set so somebody cannot damage the alarm system while they are working in your home. This is the reason the tamper circuit is permanently turned on.

ESP Security technicians are ready to assist you with any alarm system or tamper circuits that are causing you issues with your alarm system.
